What is the Dr. Hauschka facial care concept?

The Dr. Hauschka facial care concept follows your skin around the clock, recognising that its role during the day is completely different from its role at night. By day, skin faces the outside world and acts as a protective barrier. By night, it turns inward to regenerate. Our three-step morning and evening routine supports this natural rhythm: first, cleanse to clear the pores; second, tone to help strengthen skin; and third, apply a protective day cream in the morning, or a revitalising night care product in the evening.

This approach to night care is distinctly Dr. Hauschka. To let skin breathe freely and regenerate overnight, we use only water-based formulations in the evening — which is why you won't find rich night creams in our range, but instead a selection of toners and serums that give skin the support it needs while you sleep.
