Day Creams
A formula for every skin
Every Dr. Hauschka day cream has its own composition and way of working with your skin. Each of them combines extracts from different plants with carefully selected oils or high-quality waxes. This creates a light protective layer while offering a mix of refreshing, soothing, toning, balancing and moisturising benefits, depending on the formula.
Alongside our day creams, the natural cosmetic range also includes day lotions and a Clarifying Day Oil:
Clarifying Day Oil: Formulated with premium plant oil extracts to help support oily and blemish-prone skin.
Revitalising Day Cream: A fresh, light texture formulated for dry, dehydrated skin, designed to leave your complexion looking refreshed.
If you tend to have blemished combination skin, we recommend mixing a few drops of Clarifying Day Oil into Revitalising Day Cream as your daytime moisturiser. To find a closer match for your skin, our online skin test can help point you in the right direction.
Rose Day Cream: Where it all began
Dr. Rudolf Hauschka founded WALA in 1935, initially working in natural medicine. Expanding into skincare, using many of the same medicinal plant extracts, was naturally his next step. Working alongside cosmetologist Elisabeth Sigmund, the pair developed cream bases that didn't rely on chemical or synthetic emulsifiers, along with fragrance blends made from natural essential oils. The first Dr. Hauschka cosmetics reached the market in 1967, led by Rose Day Cream, still a classic in our facial care range today.
Formulated for mature skin
Mature skin has its own specific needs. It tends to benefit from skincare that helps smooth and tone, supports moisture levels, and helps maintain skin's structure.
Our Regenerating range for the face includes Regenerating Day Cream, Regenerating Day Cream Complexion, Regenerating Serum, Regenerating Intensive Skincare from 50 on, and an intensive treatment, alongside several other natural formulations for mature skin.
Does your Day Cream need to change with the seasons?
Cold weather and dry indoor heating can both take a toll on skin over winter. If you usually use Soothing Day Lotion or Rose Day Cream Light, you might find Rose Day Cream or Tinted Day Cream, both slightly richer formulas, better suited to the colder months. You can also layer one of these into your existing facial care routine for extra hydration. Once the weather warms up again, you can then switch back to a lighter routine.
